The company originates from the factory existing since the year 1953, which was the first producer of refrigerating equipment in the country and its market image has maintained under the name „BYFUCH”.

This is actually the present market name of the company, which together with the characteristic snow-flake creates the commonly recognisable trade mark.
The following companies and its organisational and legal structure have been changing as time passed and as the process progressed, the company constantly developed its activity and as a result contributed to its experience and tradition, the synonym of which is the highest quality equipment. Over the years, also the product assortment and technical capabilities of the factory has been increasing systematically. As a result of this growth, the factory has specialised in a production of refrigerating counters, cabinets as well as freezing and refrigerating gondolas and our know-how in this scope allows an adaptation of the production quality to the level required on all worldwide markets.

In February 1993, Bydgoska Fabryka Urządzeń Chłodniczych „BYFUCH” underwent a commercialisation stage and transformed into one-person company of the State Treasury. Next – after incorporation into the Program of the National Investment Funds – became one of the companies belonging to V NFI „VICTORIA”. The next stage was to privatise the enterprise combined with its restructuring.

As a result of these changes as well as basing on the current property ands technical facilities, a company under the name „BYFAUCH” Sp. z o.o was established. Presently, the company has completed the privatisation process and the local Bydgoszcz company became the owner of the majority stake.
